For Sale is a Stunning 1966 Rolex GMT reference 1675.
Serial number is a 1.4XX,XXX dating it to 1966. The case back is stamped '66 as well as the original Rolex C& I Rivet Bracelet.
The supper glossy gilt dial is in phenomenal condition. Most of the dials have scratches, degrading glossy or marks from sloppy watchmakers. This is the best condition dial I've had in years. Please check out the high resolution photos. The hands and lime plots match perfectly and are a burnet orange color. The glow briefly when charged with UV light (2 seconds).
The fat font insert is original to the watch and really makes is pop. These alone can bring up to $3,000.
The case is in exceptional condition showing little to no signs of polishing.
The watch comes on a Rolex C&I Rivet band that fits a wrist of 8 inches.The watch runs well and keeps time but we do not know of any service history.
